He currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the People Forum of India, a role he has held for the past five years. His commitment to social causes has earned him several prestigious accolades, including the "Jewel of Nations – International Award" in 2019 for Best Humanity Performance from the National Anti Crime & Human Rights Council of India. He has also received the Lions Club District Governor’s Special Award and was honored with a Doctor of Letters by the International Tamil University in recognition of his outstanding social service and generous philanthropy.
