Subhasish Gogoi, a distinguished athlete, captained the Indian Mixed Netball Team to a gold medal and has represented the nation in Basketball, Handball, Mixed Netball, and Tennikoit. He actively contributes to the development of sports in Assam, serving as Treasurer of the Assam Handball Association and Vice President of the Assam Mixed Netball, Tennikoit, and Netball Associations. Additionally, he is an Executive Member of the Assam Shootingball and Kraftball Associations. At the district level, he serves as Observer for Golaghat District Basketball and Secretary for multiple Golaghat sports associations, including Handball, Netball, Mixed Netball, Tennikoit, Shootingball, and Kraftball, fostering youth engagement and sporting excellence.
