Dr. Vikram Singh is the Sports Director at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, holding a Ph.D. in Physical Education from the University of Delhi and a gold medal in M.Phil. from Kurukshetra University. A UGC JRF/NET and SLET topper, he has over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and sports management. Dr. Singh has authored 29 books and more than 60 research papers focusing on Physical Education, Yoga, and Health Sciences. His outstanding contributions have been recognized with prestigious honors, including the Young Scientist Award (2004), Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Award (2016), International Academic Excellence Award (2021), and Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2024).
