Jitumoni Deka is a seasoned basketball player and coach from Assam with a long-standing contribution to the sport. He has served on the Selection Committee for the National Basketball Championship in Assam from 2020 to 2024 and has been a dedicated coach at Sarla Birla School since 2006. He coached the Assam team at the National Basketball Championship in Goa (2012) and enhanced his skills through the BFI ‘Train the Trainer’ clinic. As a player, he represented Assam in multiple Sub Junior Nationals, Senior Nationals, National School Games, and the National Games in 2007, showcasing consistent excellence.
