Sano Vamuzo is a renowned social worker and educationist dedicated to promoting education and women’s rights. She served as Headmistress and lecturer in multiple institutions, significantly contributing to community development. As Advisor and former President of the Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA), she led social initiatives advocating peace under the slogan “Shed No More Blood.” She was also the first Chairperson of the Nagaland State Commission for Women.
