Meena Saikia Bora is a retired Chief Manager (HR) from ONGC and a distinguished former athlete with an impressive record in national competitions. She received the prestigious President’s Award—Neelam Sanjiva Reddy Cash Award and Gold Medal in 1981. A versatile performer, she won Gold in High Jump and Silver in Long Jump at the 1977 All India National Games. She also secured multiple Gold medals in the National Physical Fitness Programme 1981 and excelled at National Women’s Festivals and Inter-State Championships. Representing the Petroleum Sports Control Board, she earned numerous medals across Long Jump, High Jump, and sprint events.
