Sashikanta Nayak is a seasoned basketball player and coach with strong credentials, including a NIS Diploma in Basketball Coaching (Patiala, 2008) and ANO training from the NCC Army Wing (OTA Kamptee, 2014). Known for his organization, adaptability, and ability to independently build basketball courts, he represented his state in multiple National Basketball Championships from 1997 to 2010 across all age categories. As a coach, he has led teams in National Championships from 2011 to 2024 and served as Men’s Team Coach for Utkal University from 2017 to 2022, coaching at major events in cities such as Nagpur, Puducherry, Noida, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Indore, and Bhubaneswar
