K. V. P. Rama Rao is a distinguished table tennis professional from Odisha and a Senior Accountant at the A.G. Office, Bhubaneswar. He holds an M.A. in History from Nagarjuna University. Between 1997 and 2008, he represented Odisha in Senior National Championships, earning four medals in the All India Civil Services Tournaments across singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. He also served as Coach of the Odisha Sub-Junior and Junior Teams from 2001 to 2005, guiding young talent at state level. In 2020, he successfully cleared the International Umpire Examination, further contributing to Indian table tennis.
